For Assignment 6 I see that we must to use Alex. In NHR Portal I don't see any invitation to have access to Alex and I can not access it. Maybe I missed an information?
The PTfS accounts have been enabled on Alex; a separate invitation is not necessary. A more accurate description of the problem (instead of "I cannot access Alex") would really be useful in order to enable us to help you.
When I'm trying to access it I am receiving this message:
PS C:\Users\Razvan> ssh ptfs307h@alex.nhr.fau.de
ssh: connect to host alex.nhr.fau.de port 22: Connection timed out
If you try the same with "fritz" instead of "alex", it works?
I solved the problem. I was not connected to FAU network.
