Dear students,
there are a couple of changes and additions to the regular schedule of the lecture and tutorials this and next week:
- There will be no normal lecture on Thursday, July 3. (This lecture was formally held on June 13).
Instead, we will give an introduction to the likwid-perfctr tool at the same time and place (even though we most likely will not need 90 min).
You will need to use this tool for the tutorials and the programming project, therefore, we highly recommend to attend if you are not yet familiar with the Likwid tool suite. - Additionally to the tutorials on Thursday and Friday, July 10 and 11, there will be the second part of the intro to the 10 ECTS programming project, following the normal tutorial slots. We plan to finish within the normal 90min slot but we might need a few (~15-20) minutes more depending on questions, so please plan accordingly. Similar to the first intro session, it is not mandatory to attend this but we highly recommend you to be there for a better understanding of the project, how to submit your report and information on the new leaderboard we have this year.
