Dear PTfS students,
one problem some of you may run into when using C++ is the getTimeStamp() function we provide. If you want to call it from a C++ program, you have to include the header in a special way:
extern "C" {
#include "timing.h"
}
If you do not do this, the linker will complain as it cannot find the function at link time. Of course, you are allowed to use any other timing function from the C++ standard library that provides wallclock time.
Best,
Georg.
