likwid-pin and frequency adaption

Dear PTFS-team,

I understand the intention behind likwid-pin. In the current assignment 8, exercise 4, we're asked to change the clock frequency to 2 GHz as we did in other assignments so far. Could you explain to me how likwid-pin can be combined with the command line option --cpu-freq=2000000-2000000 since it's only known to srun?

Dear Jonka,

whenever you want to run anything with fixed frequency, just use srun as a wrapper:

$ srun --cpu-freq=2000000-2000000 likwid-pin -c whatever ./a.out
