We are happy to provide introduction talks to C programming and shell usage this week.
If you are not familiar with programming or Linux-based terminals, we highly recommend to attend those as you will need these skills for successfully working on the tutorial exercises and the coding project.
C intro
On Wednesday, April 22, 10:15am there will be an online C programming introduction held by Dr. Jan Eitzinger.The intro will take place online via Zoom and takes approx. 1 hour.

Shell intro
After both tutorials (i.e., approx. 30min after the tutorial start), there will be an introduction on how to use the terminal/shell for those who need it.
The intro will take place in person in the same room as the tutorial.
To be able to participate and tag along, please bring your laptop and make sure you replied to the poll for getting an invitation for a HPC account and upload a SSH key to the HPC portal (see kick-off slides). Invites will be sent manually, account creation only happens once a day, and the SSH key sync runs every two hours, so make sure you start this process sufficiently early (and not only on the same day as the tutorial)!
