Dear PTfS students,
Assignment 2 is already online as of now. We have decided to move the schedule up slightly in order to be more flexible with outages like the one we had last week and other blunders. From this week on, new assignments will be published every Tuesday around noon. The deadline will then usually be eight days later, i.e., on Wednesday the week after, at 10:00 a.m. Hence, the deadline for Assignment 2 is Wednesday, May 13, at 10:00 a.m.
Please also remember the rules for submissions:
- If you are part of a group, you still have to submit the solution (even though it's identical to the others submitted by your group members). This eases our workload since we don't have to convince the system that you submitted something while you actually haven't. For Assignment 0 we have accepted such "non-submissions," but we will not in the future.
- Please provide a PDF report with your solution. A collection of markdown/text/doc[x] files (e.g., one per task) will not do since we'd have to collect all the relevant data ourselves. For Assignment 0 we have accepted such submissions this one time. Please provide a single-file PDF report in the future. It should only take seconds to produce such a report once you have a writeup in whatever format.
