Marker API result file does not exist

Dear Ptfs team,

I ran the same code from last assignment, and now I am getting a new error. LIKWID_MARKER_CLOSE is given in the template.

I used the following commands:

icx $LIKWID_INC -O3 -xHost -fno-alias $LIKWID_LIB -DLIKWID_PERFMON source.c timing.o -llikwid

likwid-perfctr -C 0 -m -g ENERGY ./a.out

CPU type: Intel Icelake SP processor

CPU clock: 2.39 GHz

Marker API result file does not exist. This may happen if the application has not called LIKWID_MARKER_CLOSE.


The given template was used which has LIKWID_MARKER_CLOSE. Anyway to resolve this error?

Dear Srinivas,

the output says it all:

Usage: ./a.out <size>

This means that  the program terminated itself because it expects a command line argument, which was not provided.
